Building upon our long-standing relationship with Fremont Union High School District, Blach + QKA were selected to construct two Folia buildings via Design-Build that will serve as the home of the District’s inventive Educational Options Program.

Folia’s highly customizable design fit perfectly with FUHSD’s need for a reasonably-priced, high-quality building that could house several multi-use spaces. Given Folia’s interior walls are non-bearing, FUHSD was able to easily modify the floorplan to seamlessly include office space, conference rooms, a kitchen and specialty classrooms to accommodate the innovative approach this unique, modern learning experience offers.

The Educational Options project showcases Folia’s inherent flexibility and ability to transform beyond the traditional classroom building. It will enable FUHSD to provide the space necessary for its modified learning programs – space intended to inspire, motivate and ultimately provide the unparalleled and transformative learning opportunities for which this leading San Francisco Bay Area school district is known.
